This course gives students: -

General introduction to the principles of interrelated databases using
any popular accounting package. |

Students will learn
specifically: To set up, post transactions, navigate through the modules, produce financial reports from all modules of Sales, Purchases, Cash and Bank, Stocks, General or Nominal ledger. |

Students
will be given an introduction to payroll accounting whether or not
it is part of the accounting package. |

Produce financial reports such as Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss statements, Customers and Suppliers reports etc. |
Assessment:
Student performance is assessed through self regulated exercise and a timed
examination
