Candidates have to pass tests in seven modules:

Databases using Microsoft Access |

Presentation Tools using Microsot Powerpoint |

Information and Communication (Internet and E-mail) |
Except for module one (1) all other modules
test's practical skills rather than theory. Tests consist of tasks chosen
at random of typical day to day computer applications. The International computer
Driving Licence (ICDL) is a qualification indicating what you can actually
do.
The seven tests may be taken in any order at our test centre over a period
of time not exceeding three years. Anyone who has completed at least four
(any four) modules may surrender the Skills Log Book and will be issued an
ICDL Start Certificate.
