Whats
is the International Diploma in Computer Studies?
The International Diploma
in Computer Studies IDCS, from NCC Education, provides candidates with effective
and practical business-oriented IT skills, enabling them to make a real contribution
to the workplace. The IDCS programme has been designed with flexibility in
mind, it can be run as a one-year full-time course, or as a part-time course,
or as individual modules. This allows NCC Education partners to become
specialists in their local markets for particular subject areas.
The IDCS is aimed at college
leavers who wish to take either a stand-alone recognized qualifications in
information technology or the first step onto a degree programme. This diploma
is also an ideal qualification for IT professionals looking to update their
skills.IDCS gives cadidates the ability to "pick and mix" subjects,
allowing them the freedom to explore the topics which will be of the most
benefit in developing their career.

follow-on courses
IDCS is a foundation course
in a series of one-year programmes offered by NCC Education which, when combined,
offer candidates a BSc (Hons) degree. Our degree programmes are provided in
conjunction with highly respected UK universities.NCC Education is the only

programme to enable you to deliver a higly respected UK degree, right here

Assessment overview
One of the major factors in
the phenominal success of the IDCS programme since its inception in 1985 has
been NCC Education's close management of the programme: NCC Education carries
out the time-constrained written examinations for the core modules, with the
whole process managed from United Kingdom.
NCC Education and IIT combine to assess the elective subjects. IIT is given
clear instructions from NCC Education as to how assessments are to be carried
out, whether through examinations, course work, practicals or assignments
(or a mixture of any of these). All of the locally marked and assessed modules
are fully moderated by NCC Education. This ensures that NCC Education's international
standard of high-quality training programmes is strictly adhered to.
