Introduction:

This program is vendor independent and intended for Web Professionals who wish to establish their credentials without limiting themselves to a vendor specific certification program. The program has a general Foundation, and then three specialist tracks aimed at the roles found most commonly in the internet arena. The choice for all Internet Professionals who want to formalise their abilities is the Internet Foundation track. The recommended course to achieve this consists of five modules: Internet Fundamentals; Navigating the Web; Conducting Internet Research; Internet Email, Schedule and Contact Management; and Web publishing.

The UIC program then designates two levels of achievement:

	Specialist
	Expert

Moving from the generic base of the Internet Foundation track, the certification tracks reflect common business roles:

Each level and track is supported by a series of examinations, all of which are administered by NCC Education. All of the Universal Internet Certification examinations can be booked and sat at any Accredited Testing Centre.
